Drama.Republic presents “F.R.A.M.E.D”
A tiny hole. A pin-sized gadget. A whole new meaning to life.
Have you ever wondered what life would be like, if you didn’t have surveillance cameras around us? Or what if you were the surveillance camera? What would you see?Traffic jams, ERP in operation, car accidents on the expressways, F1 Grand Prix. With a population of 4.5 million, 800,000 vehicles on our roads, 2,031 traffic lights and 9 expressways landscaping this tiny red dot, we jostle for space on the roads all the time.
Through the eyes of a camera, what do a sweeper, a cab driver, a pregnant teenager, a civil servant, a Malaysian driver and an anxious mother all have in common?A story inspired by the journeys on Singapore’s roads, F.R.A.M.E.D is a collaborative device play that explores human relationships and the fine lines between waiting, loneliness, love and hate.
Directed by Mohamed Fita Helmi Bin Tahir and written by Shaun Chen, the ensemble cast of Drama.Republic takes yet another closer look at what makes the world tick.
Smile, you have just been “FRAMED”.
